Matt Behrens, he's just zis guy, yannow?
Hi, I'm Matt, and I have a website.
(Hi, Matt.)
I'm a system analyst, developer, and sometimes free software advocate at Baker Furniture, a Kohler company. I've been with Baker since May 2000. Before that I worked at a couple local ISPs and a truck dealership.
I'm a hardcore Nintendo enthusiast these days, playing my DS to the exclusion of pretty much everything else. I can't help it; they just keep releasing great stuff! Though I wish more would make it over from Japan...
I'm such a fan of Nintendo that I joined N-Sider.com as a news editor and contributor. I've haunted the forums for quite some time, but have only been contributing for a short time.
Objets d'art
- Self-portrait
- Me, just like on this page, except really big so you can see what a bad job I did shaving. Also comes in travel size!
- Self-portrait icon
- Just a doodling I did one night with OpenOffice Draw, then imported to the GIMP and colorized.
- Convergence
- My response to Bill Gates' vision of the future where your waffle iron is subject to a EULA.
Where else I am
There are a few other "homes" I have on the Web. Most are in a worse state of disrepair than this site.
- Advogato
- My page on the free software advocacy site. I used to use the diary extensively. I don't have a lot to say there anymore.
- WikiWikiWeb
- Ward Cunningham's grand experiment is an awesome way to spend countless hours. It's a massive site that everyone can — and is encouraged to — edit.
- Zope.org
- I have a few resources relating to Zope, as I use it extensively at work. I'm also a contributor to Zope itself.
